RELATED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Specialize in period clothes, especially 1920-1980; in-depth knowledge of L.A. area costume houses.

Wardrobe management, including Sync On Set.

Very comfortable with fabric shopping and with dyeing (including shibori & surface design), aging & distressing; taught more than 50 undergraduates aging, distressing, and fabric identification.

Spent years working in custom made/ costume shops with jobs including stitching, basic draping, basic tailoring, and crafts (millinery, airbrushing, shoe modification, artistic and scenic painting).

Ms. Apatoff has been hired for her research skills by productions at every major Seattle theatre, including The Seattle Opera, ACT, The Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman, and The Seattle Children’s Theatre.
