Expert in period and vintage clothes; extensive knowledge of L.A. area costume houses.
Wardrobe management, including Sync On Set.
Completed graduate level courses in dyeing (including various kinds of dyes, shibori and other dye techniques, other kinds of surface design); taught more than 50 undergraduates aging, distressing, and fabric identification.
Spent years working in custom made/ costume shops with jobs including stitching, basic draping, basic tailoring, and crafts (millinery, airbrushing, shoe modification).
Years of artistic and scenic painting; graphic design including photoshop.
Ms. Apatoff has been hired for her research skills by productions at every major Seattle theatre, including The Seattle Opera, ACT, The Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman, and The Seattle Children’s Theatre.
